Weddings are absolutely magical and witnessing this great moment in time for couples is what it’s truly all about. Lulled by the breathtaking views of their Irish wedding venue, these lovebirds envisioned their fairytale to encompass great food, good wine and simply everyone having a fabulous time. And that’s exactly what they got. It was a day of pure love, lots of laughter and great craic to say the least.
December 21st, 2018 was the perfect moment in time chosen for Paddy and his bride to wed in holy matrimony. After attending medical school together in Australia, it was Christmas in Ireland that they missed most. And that’s what gave rise to the initiative of having a winter wedding during this merry season.
The bespoke occasion was held at one of Ireland’s finest wedding venues- Virginia Park Lodge. It was a very cold day indeed but the warmth and affection encompassed by the couple conquered all.

The setting depicted a distinctly beautiful and homely feel, with plenty of luxurious touches to make guests fall in love with every bit of its intricate detailing. The giant private estate boasted of sheer romanticism that could be felt resonating across every historic wall. The smiles across the couple’s faces as they stood close together, hand in hand was a pleasurable sight to witness.
The wedding style depicted classical and sophisticated feels, amalgamated seamlessly with a relaxed and alluring local charm. I had privillege to capture every stellar moment and heartwarming emotion. This included an enthralling mix of Chinese traditions and spectacular landscapes of Virginia park Lodge too. The couple appeared a vision in terms of styling for their big day. Danielle the bride looked picture perfect, opting for a stunning white hued lace gown, designed beautifully keeping modern day glamour in mind. Her intricately created bouquet served as the perfect statement accessory with bold seasonal floral elements, adding the perfect dose of pop. Paddy didn’t fall short of expectations either. He appeared every bit dapper in a grey toned tuxedo and an immaculate bold boutonniere pinned graceful against his side. The couple’s closest family and friends had travelled all the way from Malaysia and Australia to be a part of the occasion. There were plenty of celebrations going on at the reception with loved ones smiling endlessly for memories to be captured on film. From the bride’s arrival to the exchange of vows, the festive cheer in the air could be witnessed from miles away- a fascinating sight indeed.
The wedding was a sublime blend of diverse ethnicity and traditions with lots of smiles being reflected from every direction. And that’s exactly what makes us wonder how beautiful the priorities had been set up from the start. It was one big memorable party with plenty of close relatives and friends by the couple’s side.
